4 Fish Recipes for Lent Friday
Hola, Hi, Hello!
We Catholics are now in week 5 of Lent, and there's only so much fried catfish you can eat. Please, allow me to enlighten you with a few recipes you ought to try.
Tuna Avocado Toast
This is a super easy, quick meal I created at home using 6 ingredients. I toasted some bread, slathered mashed avocados on top, mixed some canned tuna with the Primal Kitchen Chipotle Lime Mayo (super freakin delicious btw), and sprinkled it with salt and red pepper flakes. Ta daaaaa. See how simple it is? You could hold your breath during the whole process and still come out alive ... just kidding, please don't do that.
Blackened halibut with mango salsa and garlic mashed potatoes

** Disclaimer: Halibut filets are expensive (about $20 each) but they are soooo worth it.
Okay, so this recipe isn't as simple as the toast, but this has been my favorite dish so far. I'll have to include screenshots of the recipe for this one porque you need an account in order to view it online.
paleo zucchini pasta with spicy shrimp

Do NOT disregard this one simply because it has the word "paleo" in the title. This sh*t is good. And, if you must, you could always sub the zucchini with real pasta, but don't come crying to me when you're bloated.
"bbq" salmon & Brussels Bake

This recipe came from this paleo book and the "bbq" flavors were just splendid. Here's a screenshot of the recipe, starring my boyfriend's finger.
